Our home resort is the Gran Porto in Playa del Carmen which is just a few blocks from the main shopping/ dining area. It is also within a miles walk to the boat that goes to Cozumel. This resort is family friendly - with kids under 12 staying for free. The weeks are just weeks - there is an all inclusive fee for adults and kids over 12. The all inclusive fee covers all meals and drinks. There is a child care center for children over 4 years. The room is a Junior Suite and can be upgraded to ocean view for about $70 a room per week.
