Description
You are bidding on a really cute antique Louis Vuitton cube trunk. The trunk is over 100 years old and does show its age.It measures 16 x 16 x 17. I bought it about 10 years ago on Ebay and even though it is worn and is far from perfect, I have really enjoyed it. I have used it all over the house for storage and display and currently have it in my sunroom as a side table. I am in the middle of a complete kitchen remodel so have decided to sell a few of my extra pieces to use the funds towards the remodel. The interior and the lid have been relined. the handle used to be a leather one on the top but when it broke it was not able to be replaced by LV due to the wear on the trunk. I does however have authentic brass LV handles from the same time period attached to the side of the trunk and I must say it turned out really well. The canvas shows its 100 plus age and so does the leather which are both crack and missing in places. if you are looking for a MINT condition trunk this one is NOT for you. If you are wanting a rare size, clean functional AUTHENTIC piece of LV history then here is your chance to get it with no reserve. The bidders will determine the value.
