Description
This magnificent trip includes a one week captained charter on Dolphin Dance II for up to 2 couples.  The boat is a brand new 2009 Jeanneau 45 DS.  The charter starts in St. Vincent and sails the Grenadine islands.  The charter returns typically on day 7 to Blue Lagoon, St. Vincent. The charter includes taxi from the airport to the dock, linens, 3 bags of ice, insurance, fuel, and the captain.  The yacht comes with snorkeling gear, although you may choose to bring your own.  The charter does not include transportation to St. Vincent, provisioning or gratuities for the captain.  About the boat - This exciting new model features the modern styling that has made Jeanneau the number one name in deck salons throughout the world. Dolce Far Niente, which is an Italian phrase which means "the sweetness of doing nothing" features an ultra modern hull, providing exceptional speed while under sail or power.A very spacious owner's cabin, complete with queen size island berth, is located aft along with an extremely large head and shower. A second guest cabin and head are located all the way forward giving owners and guests plenty of privacy and room to move around. The interior, like that of all our deck salons, is open and bright with plenty of ventilation. A modern L-shaped galley with plenty of storage, large sink and refrigerator are located on the starboard side while a large traditional navigation station can be found just opposite on the port side. (please see pictures included in gallery) The 7 day trip is outlined in detail below -                 Blue Lagoon - Arrival DayWith a perfect 15 knot trade wind off your port beam, set sail from the TMM dock at Blue Lagoon for an exhilarating ride south to the magnificent island of Mustique. A vacation hideaway for celebrities, this well groomed garden island will welcome you ashore. Enjoy a wild tropical concoction at the renowned Basils Bar, with panoramic views overlooking Britannia Bay and the islands beyond. Mayreau - Day OneUp with the sun, early dip and light breakfast, then hoist the main and make course for the private paradise of Mayreau. Untouched, un crowded, no airport and no cars. From the absolutely perfect white beach at Saltwhistle Bay it's a short walk to the hilltop and it's view of the spectacular Tobago Cays..... where you'll be in just a few days. Petit St Vincent - Day TwoOff to Mopion and Pinese for lunch, a delightful pair of deserted islets where snorkeling, sun worshipping and swimming are the order of the day. Then take a short hop to the exclusive Petit St Vincent. Ashore, partake of a bountiful beach barbeque and join in on a West Indian Jump-up on these famous white sands.Tobago Cays - Day Three and Day FourThe amazing Tobago Cays are now yours to explore! A short sail north of Petit St Vincent, the worlds third largest coral reef is a haven for marine life in all it's astonishing variety. Windsurf past sandy cays, cool out under swaying palms, beach comb - spectacular in every sense. The Tobago Cays are truly one of the most beautiful spots in the entire Caribbean. This is the quintessential tropical escape and two days are just enough to enjoy it.Canouan - Day FiveSet sail to Canouan, the "island of the turtles". You will enjoy virtual seclusion on the islands pristine white beaches, but you will really want to explore this former whaling port. In what was an abandoned village, a magnificent English church still stands as a testimonial to latter day prosperity. A new 18 hole golf course and five star hotel compliment the islands offerings. Bequia - Day SixFollow the call of the sea to Admiralty Bay Bequia, where age old traditions of boat building, sailing and fishing are still very much alive. Cosmopolitan compared to Canouan and Mayreau, Bequia regularly hosts international cruisers and round the world sailors. Local colour and culture, West Indian gingerbread architecture and excellent restaurants can all be found in Port Elizabeth Admiralty Bay. Blue Lagoon -- Day SevenEnjoy a leisurely sail back to Blue Lagoon, and plan on exploring exotic St Vincent - rain forest and waterfalls, the Botanical Gardens, the National Museum with it's pre-columbian treasures, and historic Kingstown. You will take home with you memories of a perfect sailing vacation in the Grenadines - and much more. This is truly a priceless adventure and one you will never forget!
